Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Griffin, a sweet boy who enjoys exploring the world at his own pace. He can be a little unsure at first, especially in new or windy environments, but settles quickly with time, sniffing, and reassurance. (Plus he loves treats and squeaky toys!)
Griffin loves going for walks and takes great joy in following interesting scents. He’s happiest when he can explore, check in with his handler, and then come back for pets and cuddles. Once comfortable, his affectionate side really shines - he’s been described as a true love bug.
Griffin can be nervous of unexpected or invasive touch, so he`ll thrive in a patient home that can respect his body language and support him as he gains confidence. He is also on life-long medication to treat hypothyroidism. If you have a home that provide relaxed sniffy walks, gentle confidence-building, and lots of affection, come meet Griffin and see if he could be your new best friend.
Griffin is: - Open to older kids - Cats unknown - No dogs

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
