Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Smokey 🐾
Smokey is a 1-year-old Black Lab/Shepherd mix (about 60 lbs) who is looking for a new home. His owner recently had a stroke and can no longer handle his strength, which is why he needs to be rehomed.
Smokey is a very sweet, playful boy. He loves to play ball, run around, give kisses, and soak up attention. He’s crate trained, house trained, and will bark when he needs to go outside. He does well being left alone for a few hours and settles in his crate.
✨ What Smokey Needs:
A family who will play with him and give him the attention he loves.
Smokey is a really good dog with lots of love and energy to share. He just needs a fresh start with someone who can keep up with him.
Please give this perfect boy a home.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are a donation of choice.
