Hi Friends, I’m Roo!
I was brought in from the cold just before the ice storm—tail tucked, frozen with fear. Thanks to kind humans, I've warmed up, and now I'm jumping around and playing like a happy pup again!
My current foster home stepped up when I needed saving, but they're overcrowded with medically needy foster cats and work 12-hour shifts. They urgently need foster reinforcements to take over for me.
I checked out healthy, got shots, weighed in at 31 lbs, and was estimated to be 8 months old. All I need is a warm, safe place to land.

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.
Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.
Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.
Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
