My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Kiki. I’m a gentle, slightly shy girl who’s looking for a calm and loving forever home. I came to the shelter because my owner had to leave the country unexpectedly, not because I did anything wrong. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I feel safe, I’m very sweet and affectionate. I enjoy quiet playtime, cozy naps, and soft pets—on my terms. If I’ve had enough attention, I’ll simply move away. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I’ll let you know with a soft meow. I have great litter box habits, and have lived with another cat before. I haven’t lived with dogs and don’t have experience with children, so I’d do best in a patient, low-key home that lets me settle in at my own pace. If you’re looking for a calm companion who just needs a little time to show her love, I might be your girl.
