🐾 COURTESY POST – Apply through Tired Dog Rescue 🐾
📍 Located in Gulfport, MS
Meet Scout, a super handsome 3–4-year-old Fox/Rat Terrier mix weighing 21.8 lbs, and officially READY FOR ADOPTION! 🎉 Scout has successfully completed his heartworm treatment and is now in his rest phase, doing great and looking forward to his next chapter.
Scout is the total package—calm, sweet, and an absolute joy to have around. He is crate trained, housebroken, and has had ZERO accidents in his current home. No chewing, no destruction, no bad habits—just a good boy through and through. 💙
He’s lived peacefully with both a small terrier mix and a 10-year-old American Staffordshire. Scout can be dog selective, so proper introductions are important, but he does well with the right match. He hasn’t been tested with kids yet, though his gentle and easygoing nature suggests he may do well with slow, respectful introductions.
✨ Why Scout is special:
• Crate trained & housebroken
• Calm, friendly, and eager to please
• No destructive behaviors
• Smart and ready to learn
• Adoption fee sponsored 🙌
• Heartworm treatment completed – just resting now
Scout may not have formal obedience training yet, but he’s a bright boy who will thrive with patience, consistency, and love. He’s ready to blossom into someone’s loyal best friend.
If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion who’s ready to start forever life, Scout is your guy.
👉 Apply through Tired Dog Rescue today and give this deserving boy the home he’s been waiting for.

Our fees range from 75.00 to 450.00 depending on the age of the dog. They must submit an application and if the application sounds good then a home visit will be set up. We are very strict about what we look for on the home visit. If app and home visit are approved then we bring the dog for a meet and greet. All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and healthy before adoption. I do ask that the family update us frequently on the dog as we like to keep up with each and every pet we adopt out.

We LOVE dogs! We wish that we could help more than we do and hopefully someday we will expand and be able to do much more in our community to rescue and train dogs for placement and to educate the community about the importance of spay and neutering their pets and recruit more people to lend a hand.
