Meet Leo! Leo is a six year old, 8.5 pound tan terrier poodle mix! How cute is he?! Leo's family loved him very much but unfortunately had to move to a place that did not allow dogs. Leo is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is ready to go!
Leo is a velcro dog and loves his humans very much. He will want to follow you everywhere and sleep in your bed with you!
Leo does good with other dogs but prefers dogs that aren't super high energy. Leo would also do ok as an only dog. He currently lives with a cat in his foster home and doesn't mind being around cats. Leo loves all humans and children. He has adorable antics and mannerisms that will have you wrapped around his little paw. Leo loves to cuddle and play!
Leo is not all the way house trained and his foster noticed he needed a little refresher when he arrived at her home. He will probably need a refresher at his forever home but learns where to go very quick and would flourish with a routine! The foster used belly bands to help the transition. Leo is also pee pad trained and will use them if left home alone with them for an extended amount of time.
Leo would love a home with a fenced yard. He loves to wander and play in the yard and enjoy his freedom outside! If you think Leo is a good match for your household, please apply today!

Our fees range from 75.00 to 450.00 depending on the age of the dog. They must submit an application and if the application sounds good then a home visit will be set up. We are very strict about what we look for on the home visit. If app and home visit are approved then we bring the dog for a meet and greet. All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and healthy before adoption. I do ask that the family update us frequently on the dog as we like to keep up with each and every pet we adopt out.

We LOVE dogs! We wish that we could help more than we do and hopefully someday we will expand and be able to do much more in our community to rescue and train dogs for placement and to educate the community about the importance of spay and neutering their pets and recruit more people to lend a hand.
