My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ellie, a two and a half month old Doberman Pinscher mix weighing seven pounds.

Ellie is a happy, outgoing, and friendly puppy who’s full of joy and ready to make friends with everyone she meets. She came to us through our My Last Litter Program, an initiative that helps break the cycle of pet overpopulation by bringing in litters of puppies, finding them loving homes, and ensuring momma dogs are spayed so they don’t contribute to the problem again. Programs like this truly save lives—and Ellie is one of those success stories.

Ellie is a Doberman mix, a breed known for being intelligent, loyal, and deeply people-oriented. Dobermans thrive with structure, training, and regular mental and physical exercise, so it’s important that potential adopters research the breed and are prepared for an active, smart dog who does best when included as part of the family.

With the right home and guidance, Ellie will grow into an amazing companion. If you’re ready for puppy energy, training, and a lifetime of love, Ellie may be the perfect match for you. Please remember that Ellie is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.

This pet is available for adoption on 1.24.25 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
