Hi there! My name is Bluey but my foster pawrents call me Blue! I’m a 2 year old Bluetick Hound with a big heart, long ears, and an even bigger love for cuddles.
If you’re looking for a best friend who thinks personal space is overrated, I might just be your guy. I *love* being close to my people—whether that means curling up beside you on the couch, resting my head on your lap, or following you from room to room just to make sure you’re never alone. Snuggles are my specialty, and I give them freely.
I’ve got that classic hound charm: soulful eyes, a gentle nature, and a sweet, affectionate personality that shines once I know I’m safe. I enjoy taking my time on walks (there’s so much to sniff!), then coming home to relax and soak up attention. Belly rubs? Yes please. Forever companionship? Absolutely.
I’m still working on some of my basic commands but my foster mom and dad say I’m a quick learner and doing great as I’m especially food motivated (so far, dentasticks have been my absolute favorite!). I love my toy rope and my frisbee. Enrichment is important for a hound like me - I love to sniff and explore! I’d thrive in a home where I can be part of the family and get lots of love in return.
