Meet Mike! This handsome 7-month-old Shepherd/Boxer mix weighs about 35 pounds and has the sweetest soul. Mike can be a little shy at first and takes some time to warm up to new people, places, and experiences. Since coming into his foster home, he has made lots of progress and continues to gain confidence each day.
Mike would thrive with an adopter who understands that patience and consistency will be rewarded with endless love and devotion. He gets along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion who can help show him the ropes. Once Mike trusts you, he turns into a total cuddle bug and will happily melt right into your lap for pets and affection.
Mike enjoys playing with toys, especially a good chew toy to keep him occupied. He has been working hard on house training and is well on his way to being fully house-trained. Mike is also crate trained—he spends some time in his crate during the day, sleeps peacefully through the night, and often chooses it as his safe space.
This sweet, gentle boy is ready to find a loving forever family to call his own.
Mike is up to date on vaccinations/flea&tick/ heartworm prevention, neutered, and microchipped.
