My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Stormy is in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***

Stormy #20096: brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 11/17/23

Cats: potentially
Dogs: good
Children: elementary+

BACKGROUND: Stormy was found at a jobsite as a 3-week-old kitten and was taken in by the family of her finder. However, one of the kids turned out to be allergic to cats and it got progressively worse over the two years they tried to keep her. They reached out to ask for our help in finding Stormy a new family to love this sweet girl!

PERSONALITY: Stormy likes a little time to get settled in with new people and places, but even then if you go to her and offer pets she’ll melt into the scritches. She can be very vocal when hungry though isn’t otherwise a noisy kitty. Stormy is fond of cozy enclosed nooks for her naps and can often be found there when she wants to settle in… unless her favorite person in the family is around. If that’s you, then Stormy will snuggle up to sleep with or on top of you. And she finds it very hard to resist basking in a warm sunbeam. She’s a lovely little companion kitty.

COMPATIBILITY: Stormy lived happily with her sister who has already found a new home; she hasn’t met other cats though we think she has the potential to be comfortable with them. She lived with a pug dog and did great. Stormy is good with respectful older children elementary-aged and up. She can startle easily so we recommend a home that isn’t too rowdy or loud.

Stormy doesn’t live up to her name at all… she’s a sweetheart who is ready to love and be loved!
