My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Your New Snuggle Buddy 🐾

This sweet girl is an affectionate, gentle soul with a heart full of love and a talent for cuddling. A true couch potato at heart, she’s happiest curled up beside her person—she’s very much a “shadow dog” who loves to be wherever you are. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily keep you company while you relax, watch TV, or unwind after a long day, she’s your perfect match.

Her daily routine is calm and predictable, and she thrives on it. Mornings start early with breakfast, followed by a long nap on the couch. She enjoys short play sessions with her toys and gentle leash practice, then settles in for more naps throughout the day. Evenings are for family time, a little play, and relaxing together before bedtime. She’s happy, quiet, and a bit shy, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines.

She does best as the center of attention and can be jealous of other dogs, so she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She’s okay with cats and does well with kids aged 10 and up. She has no prey drive and is very people-oriented, forming a strong bond with her person, who becomes her safe space and comfort.

She’s still learning the ropes of the outside world, which can be scary for her. She has minimal leash skills and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard or a patient adopter willing to help her build confidence at her own pace. She’s pee-pad trained. She doesn’t enjoy being crated and has a bit of a counter-surfing habit, but with consistency and love, she continues to make progress.

She could do well in an apartment setting as long as someone is home more often than not. Above all, she’s a devoted, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be near her person—snuggling, napping, and sharing life side by side.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate best friend who will make your couch her favorite place in the world, she’s ready to meet you. 💕
