Hi, my name is Gracie! I'm an affectionate and curious kitty who likes to be cuddled and loved. Though I can be a bit shy in new situations, I quickly warm up with a soft touch and will be purring up a storm in no time! Though I'm still figuring out this whole shelter situation, I'm starting to kick around fuzzy mice and will touch noses with other potential cat friends. I'd love the chance to have a family, another animal friend, and maybe, just maybe, that could be with you? Come visit me at Woods in Atascadero and I'll see you soon! Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 8 Age: 0yrs 8mths 0wks

More about this shelter
Founded in 1955, Woods Humane Society is a nonprofit organization which receives no tax funds, but is supported by donations, grants, bequests, fundraising events and fees for services. Woods is independent of San Luis Obispo County Animal Services, but works in close cooperation with them and other animal groups in the county for the welfare of all animals.
Woods now cares for over 3,000 cats and dogs each year at our facilities in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero until they can be united with loving forever families. We bring in animals from other shelters where they are less likely to be adopted and from individuals who are no longer able to care for their pets. Woods is committed to finding loving homes for all healthy and treatable pets, no matter how long it takes. With our behavior and veterinary resources, we are able to go the extra mile for animals in need.
