Meet Smile💛
1️⃣ Health Status
* Neutered: Not yet.
* Others: Currently undergoing treatment for heartworm.
2️⃣ Rescue Story
* Smile was previously staying at the Gimje City Shelter. When he was first found, he was shivering quietly in the freezing winter cold. Because the shelter environment is so vulnerable to low temperatures and infectious diseases, Adogs quickly stepped in to rescue him.
3️⃣ Personality & Behavior
* With Humans: Is a bit shy and can be hesitant about physical touch at first. However, once he gets used to it, he calmly accepts being petted. It is best to take your time and bond with him slowly.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with his doggy friends at the center and doesn't seem bothered by other dogs.
* With Cats: Has not been introduced to cats yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is currently living in a group setting at the center. May need training once he moves into a home environment.
* Potty Training: Currently goes potty outdoors at the center. May need new training when his environment changes.
* Grooming/Hygiene: Hasn't had much experience with grooming or hygiene management yet.
* Walking: Since it hasn't been long since he arrived at the center, he does not have walking experience yet.
* Car Sickness: Showed no signs of motion sickness during short-distance trips.
* Biting: Has never shown any tendency to bite.
* Barking: May let out a warning bark if a stranger tries to touch him too suddenly.
* Dislikes: Tries to avoid physical contact if it feels forced or rushed.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
