My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Hopper - compact, fluffy, adorable, adventurous, and loving, what more could anyone ask for?

Hopper is an adoring Lionhead mix rabbit, on the smaller side of buns and in his senior years at around 6 years old, but as inquisitive and active as can be!

Hopper is a sweet bun who is a bit reserved at first meeting, like most buns, but truly adores human attention! His favorite pets are on his head and ears, body pets are not preferred, and appreciates when you let him take the lead in exploring and getting to know you!

Hopper loves to lounge interchangeably on his cozy bed and his cooling mat, hanging out with his beloved penguin stuffy, playing with his cardboard based toys, and seeking out his human pals for hang outs. He's previously lived with dogs and cats, supervised always of course, and is an overall joy to be around!

**If you are interested in meeting Hopper, please complete an Adopter Profile form at www.parl.org/adopt and come by to visit us during open adoption hours (Wed-Sun, 12-4pm)!**

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
