My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mariah - A little over one year old and approximately 40 pounds. Currently in foster care, in need of her own FURever home.
If you are interested, please submit an adoption application via our website: mcalwv.com Adoption fee $75.

Mariah has proven herself to be resilient! Discarded with two brothers and a sister as a young puppy, Mariah was able to be caught shortly after giving birth to her own puppies (still a puppy herself). She was brought into foster care with three adorable days-old puppies! Immediately upon being brought into foster care, she was very protective of her pups. She's warmed up to human companionship, though, and is ready for a place just for her to shower her love and warmth on her humans.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals are current on shots (DHLPP and rabies) and spayed or neutered. If a pet is too young to be altered, a spay/neuter contract defining a surgery date is required prior to adoption. Anyone interested in a adopting a pet must complete an adoption application. Reference checks and a home visit are also part of the application process. If the home check goes well, an appointment will be arranged to meet the potential companion. A contract is required for each adoption.
