My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maura - A little over one year old and approximately 40 pounds. Currently in foster care, in need of her own FURever home.
If you are interested, please submit an adoption application via our website: mcalwv.com Adoption fee $75.

Maura has proven herself to be resilient! Discarded with two brothers and a sister as a young puppy, Maura was able to be caught shortly after giving birth to her own puppies (still a puppy herself). Sadly, her litter did not survive. Immediately upon being brought into foster care, she was very skeptical of people. In a matter of days she opened up to love and hugs! She's withstood the sands of time, now she needs a home to call her own!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals are current on shots (DHLPP and rabies) and spayed or neutered. If a pet is too young to be altered, a spay/neuter contract defining a surgery date is required prior to adoption. Anyone interested in a adopting a pet must complete an adoption application. Reference checks and a home visit are also part of the application process. If the home check goes well, an appointment will be arranged to meet the potential companion. A contract is required for each adoption.
