My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ilya was found roaming around berryessa park-- he had been there at least a month. He was rescued by a wonderful woman who fed him, brushed him and even put an air tag on him unti we had the space to bring him into our foster system. He is beautiful- long haired russian blue manx. He startles easily but has the best purr and loves to make biscuits on your lap. He is just learning how to play- the wand toy is his favorite- but hoping soon that he wil be inspired to play by himself

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
