Buck’s story absolutely broke our hearts. This poor guy was found sitting in the middle of the road, quietly waiting for someone to stop and help him. We suspect he may have been hit by a car in the past and we have scheduled x-rays to better understand any lingering injuries. Despite everything he’s been through, Buck is still extremely sweet. He is a 1.5 year old, male, medium sized, mixed breed. He is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and would happily spend his days snuggled in your arms, soaking up all the kindness he may have missed earlier in life. He gets along well with other dogs and has been an absolute gentleman since the moment he arrived.
There’s something extra special about Buck. He has the ability to capture the heart of everyone he meets and is the kind of dog you fall in love with quickly. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Please share Buck’s story so we can find him the best forever home possible!

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.
