Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet George! 🐾
George is a senior Pembroke Corgi with a big heart and an even bigger personality—he’s 47 pounds of pure love! This goofy, affectionate guy loves to communicate, explore at his own pace, and is motivated by food (treats are his love language).
George is altered, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for the right home. He is house-trained and has a sweet, protective nature, though he can show some resource guarding, so he will do best with an experienced adopter who understands his cues and gives him the space he needs.
Recently, George was diagnosed with advanced arthritis in his shoulders and front legs, so his mobility is limited to short walks in the backyard and around a few rooms in the house. Despite this, George remains curious, affectionate, and ready to enjoy life—he’s a master of snuggles, slow strolls, and plenty of goofy smiles.
George would thrive in a calm, patient home that can accommodate his arthritis and appreciate the charm of a senior dog who just wants love, comfort, and a full belly.
If you’re ready to give this sweet, quirky Corgi the retirement he deserves, George would love to meet you! ❤️

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.
All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.
All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
