Boston is an adorable mixed-breed puppy estimated to be about 3.5–4 months old. He was the runt of the litter, and while he may be smaller, his personality is anything but.
Boston is a total snuggle bug who loves belly rubs and being close to his people. He’s doing well with potty pad training and is off to a great start for a puppy his age. Boston also does great with other dogs and enjoys their companionship.
When Boston and his littermates were surrendered, we were told they might be a Corgi/Rottweiler mix. Based on their appearance, they seem to be small mixed-breed puppies, and like most mixes, their adult size and breed makeup are best guesses.
Boston is still a puppy and will thrive in a home ready to continue his training with patience, consistency, and love. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys cuddles just as much as playtime, Boston could be the perfect match.
All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
Adoption fee for all dogs/pups: $225.
Our dogs are in foster homes across the KC metro. We do not have a shelter facility.

More about this rescue
The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.
Background
Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs). Visit our website to learn more about us at heartofamericahs.org.
