My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow! My name is George.
I’m a gentle, easygoing guy who believes life is best enjoyed with good snacks and fun toys. Squeeze-up treats are my weakness, and chasing toy springs is my favorite pastime.

You’ll often find me stretched out on my back, proudly showing off my fluffy belly and enjoying the good life. I have long, beautiful fur that I love having brushed to keep it soft and tangle-free (extra bonus: more attention for me!).

I’m also a little clumsy in the cutest way — sometimes my fluffy feet make me slip on the floor. I get along well with other cats and would make a wonderful companion.

If you’re looking for a sweet, laid-back boy with a goofy side and lots of love to give, I might be the perfect match for you.

This kitty is FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is a manageable condition that simply means they have a slightly weaker immune system. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, so FIV-positive cats can safely live with people and with friendly, non-aggressive cats.

Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, normal lives — they just benefit from being indoor-only, having routine vet care, and lots of love.

More about this rescue

Stray to Spay is a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organization dedicated to helping community cats. When we come across friendly cats and kittens during our work, we bring them into foster care to prepare them for adoption. Every cat receives full vetting, lots of love, and a safe start to their new life indoors.
