Dog Name: Siren
Breed: Mix
Sex: Female
Age: 6 weeks
Weight: 6.5lbs
Medical Needs: Remainder of puppy shots, and rabies once old enough. Must be spayed/neutered by the end April 2026. The appointment is included in the adoption fee at one of the clinics we use, and the foster-to-adopt family will need to email GRR to request the appointment when puppy is 18-20 weeks at the clinic closest to them. (Options are Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Georgetown.) Keeping the appointment that’s assigned by the clinic will be a condition of adoption. Foster to adopt families must live within 1 hour of DE and be willing to travel here for the pending appointment.
Housebroken: No, she's just a baby
Crate trained: No
Good in the car: Will likely be nervous at first because it's a new thing, but will adjust with time and exposure.
Good on a leash: No
Energy level: Puppy!
Need a fenced in yard: No
Dog Friendly: Yes
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No
Cat Friendly? Yes
Kid Friendly: Yes
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age with proper supervision
Traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Good news! This Siren will not lure you into the water with her song and make a meal of you! She will, however, look at you with those big, soft eyes, and crawl onto your lap to snuggle, and you'll be trapped forever regardless. But hey, at least this pretty little thing won't lead you to a gruesome end.
Unlike her brothers, who are rowdy and ready to take on anything, Siren is a quiet girl. She prefers to stay back and let them charge ahead while she watches and waits for her moment. Sweet, a little shy, and once she's in your arms, you'll never want to let her go again.
Foster’s Location: Frederica, DE
