Gender: Female
Spayed: Yes
Coat: White with a striking black mask
Lavender is the definition of sweetness in a petite package. This beautiful little girl looks like she stepped right out of a ballet class — delicate, graceful, and light on her paws — but don’t let her dainty looks fool you… this girl has ZOOMIES for days.
💕 Personality
Lavender is one of those rare kittens who never met a person she didn’t adore. She wants to be part of everything you’re doing — dishes, laundry, working, relaxing — she’s your tiny shadow with a purr motor that never quits. She LOVES to cuddle, happily snoozes in your lap, and will melt right into you at bedtime. Being carried around? Yes please. Constant companionship? Even better.
🐾 Play Style
This girl is curious, athletic, and always ready for fun.
Favorites include:
Wand toys
Springs
Ball chaser tracks
Play tunnels
She’s quick, agile, and loves a good sprint through the house before crashing into cuddle mode.
🛏 Favorite Hangouts
Lap ✔️
Bed with her human ✔️
Cat tree bird-watching station ✔️
Soft kitty beds ✔️
She also enjoys watching birds out the window and is surprisingly entertained by wildlife videos on TV.
🍽 Food & Treats
Lavender enjoys:
Wet food (Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers or kitten pâté)
Dry kibble
Crunchy Temptations treats
Squeeze treats like Inaba Churu (major favorite!)
🐱 Social Life
Lavender gets along wonderfully with:
✔ Other cats
✔ Kittens
✔ Small dogs
She hasn’t met kids yet, but given how much she loves people, she would likely do just fine with respectful children.
She’d love another playful kitty friend in her forever home but could be an only cat if she gets plenty of daily playtime and snuggles.
💖 The Special Stuff
Her foster says Lavender is the most people-friendly kitten she’s ever had. She bonds deeply, cuddles hard, and just wants to love and be loved.
🚫 Not a Fan Of
Nail trims. She prefers to keep those ballerina claws stylish on her own, so good scratching posts are a must.
📖 Her Story
Lavender came to BTKR with her sister when she was just three months old. Since then, she’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate, joyful little companion who is more than ready for her forever home.
Lavender is the total package: beauty, personality, cuddles, and playful energy. If you’re looking for a kitten who will be your best friend, your shadow, and your snuggle buddy all in one… she’s your girl. 💜🐾

More about this rescue
🐾 Our Mission at Billy the Kidden Rescue 🐾
Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.
💙 Our Heart is in TNR
We are proud advocates of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)—the humane, effective method of managing community cats. Through this program, feral cats are:
✔️ Trapped
✔️ Neutered or Spayed
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Ear-Tipped (as a universal sign they've been fixed)
✔️ Returned to live safely in their outdoor colonies without contributing to overpopulation.
We are actively working to promote legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads.
🐱 Feral Kitten Socialization
Our feral kitten socialization program is one of a kind—with a 90% success rate in helping feral-born kittens become affectionate, in-home pets. Through experienced fostering, patience, and love, these kittens learn to trust, play, and thrive indoors.
💪 Get Involved!
We’re always looking for passionate animal lovers to join our team. Help us make a difference by becoming a:
Foster
Volunteer
Transporter
TNR Trapper
🎁 Support Our Work
Donations keep our rescue running, and we’re always in need of supplies! Check out our wish lists to see what’s needed most:
