Dobby is an adorable 2-year-old pup weighing 25 lbs, making her a perfect medium size for just about any home. She plays well with other dogs, especially those around her size, and enjoys having canine companions to romp around with.
From what we’ve seen, Dobby is great with kids—she’s been around a 4-year-old and has done wonderfully. She has a very loving personality and is extremely snuggly and affectionate, always happy to curl up close and soak up attention.
Dobby is both house trained and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to a new home. She already knows some basic commands like sit and target, and she’s currently working on stay—she’s smart and eager to keep learning!

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
