Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rosie!
Rosie recently came to PARL from a local animal control where she's been available since August but hasn't received any adoption interest. So we're here to spotlight just how special Rosie is and all the reasons why you should make her your new best friend.
Keep in mind that Rosie has only been with us for like 2 days and not everyone has had the honor of meeting her yet. Staff testimonials:
Karen - "she's so cwute, jus' a wittle baybayyyy!"
Caitie - "she's little, spiritually"
Claire - "she walks so well on leash and starts wiggling and bouncing the second she sees a toy!"
Simon - "I don't know Rosie, but I think she should be adopted for a number of reasons"
Marley - "who? I haven't met that dog but every dog deserves a home."
Rosie was originally found as a stray with another dog. she does seem to be nervous of some dogs, so she would do best with a well-matched companion who can respect her space if needed. She has no known experience with cats but may do well with a slow introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals involved. She can be jumpy at times but is friendly and social so may do well with older, dog savvy children.
**if you're interested in meeting Rosie and forming your own reason on why she's the best thing that's ever happened to you, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
