Meet Precious!
Precious is as her name describes - a sweet girl who needs only to be loved and treasured. She 6.5 years old and the perfect energy level for a working home. She loves to chill on her bed but is also up for a walk or outside time when you're ready to take her out. Precious has previously lived with a littermate but otherwise has no other experience with dogs - she'd be happy to meet any potential friends here at PARL and see how things go! Precious has never met cats before, so we would recommend a slow introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals in the home. Precious can be a little shy at first (a piece of hotdog and a little time would have her making new friends in no time) and would do best in an adult only home.

You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
