Josie is a 5½-month-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing 23 pounds, and she’s all heart, hustle, and happy curiosity. She’s growing into herself nicely and has just enough confidence to try new things, paired with the wisdom to check in with her people along the way.
Josie is a playful, social pup who enjoys being part of the action. She loves time with her dog friends and is also good with cats, making her a great fit for a home with existing pets. Whether she’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or tagging along to see what everyone else is doing, Josie brings an easygoing, cheerful energy to the mix.
She’s doing very well with house training, though like any young puppy she’ll need consistent routines and regular potty breaks as she continues to grow. When her batteries run low, Josie is happy to trade playtime for quiet moments and settle in for a cuddle.
Josie enjoys having space to stretch her legs and burn off puppy energy, so a physically fenced yard is required to give her a safe place to run, play, and learn.
With guidance, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Josie is going to grow into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable puppy who plays well with others and brings a little sunshine wherever she goes, Josie may be the one for you
Josie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
If you’d like to meet Josie, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org.
