My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily was scooped up during one of our TNR projects (Trap, Neuter, Return to slow down the feral cat population) and when it was time to let them go she was clearly a displaced former house pet. Lily LOVES people but is not fond of other cats. Like at all. Like it might be a deal breaker. She had to learn how to be tough to survive tossed out on the streets so she sees other cats a competition. But with humans so is SO snuggly and will even jump up on your shoulder or in your arms if you hold them out

More about this rescue

Field of Dreams Rescue was created to aid in the prevention of animal cruelty by offering a no-kill sanctuary for all unwanted dogs, including but not limited to dogs from abusive or neglected situations and commercial kennels.
In our first year of operation (2007) over 128 rescues were placed into loving permanent homes! Because FODR is a no kill shelter with limited space and funding, animals are taken into our care based on need.
We are an all volunteer organization. We foster animals in our own homes so that they will be adopted into loving permanent homes. Field of Dreams Rescue actively supports spay and neutering efforts.
