Hi, I’m Yosemite. I’m a gentle, thoughtful bunny who likes to take things at my own pace.
When someone enters the room, I often stand up on my hind legs to check things out before deciding what to do next. I’m curious and enjoy exploring, but I take my time warming up to new people and spaces. Once I feel comfortable, I really enjoy being near my humans.
I love burrowing into blankets and relaxing in a cozy hidey house or tunnel. At first, pets can feel a little overwhelming for me, but with time and patience, I become more accepting. I haven’t met children or dogs yet, but I live peacefully alongside a resident cat. I do best in a well bunny-proofed environment, as my curiosity sometimes leads me to nibble at things within reach. With the right setup, I settle in nicely.
I’m excellent about using my litter box for pee, with just a few stray poops here and there. My days revolve around morning and evening feeding times, when my hay and water are refreshed. I’m a fan of Oxbow heart treats, bananas, apples, and blueberries—though I’m still undecided about apple sticks.
I could do very well with a compatible bond mate and may be a great match for someone who has a single bunny looking for love. I’m hoping my next chapter is a calm, patient forever home where I can feel safe, settled, and cherished.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
