My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Jim and I am a Priority Pet!

Jim is an absolute sweetheart with a heart as big as his appetite. He came to us paralyzed in his back end, but don’t let that fool you—Jim is thriving and full of personality. He eats like a champ, lights up when people are around, and wants nothing more than love, attention, and a best friend to dote on him.

Jim is the ultimate cozy companion. His favorite things include a warm, soft bed, a comfy spot to lounge, and being near his people where he can soak up affection. He’s the kind of cat who will happily accept pets, cuddles, and all the attention you’re willing to give.

Jim will do best in a home that can provide a safe, comfortable setup that meets his mobility needs—plus plenty of snuggles, of course. If you’re looking for a loving cat who will adore you right back, Jim is ready to steal your heart.

As a Priority Pet, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE for Jim!

That includes:
Annual exams for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Core vaccines for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Cost of medications plus 10% (*excludes HW/flea prevention) through Pawmetto Lifeline

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
