Meet Princess Raya,

Princess Raya is in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take animals into their homes and help them get adopted. This is what her foster family is saying about her:

Princess Raya has been settling in to our home so perfectly! Due to her past, she is most certainly very timid when it comes to being pet. If you move too quickly to pet her she will `pancake` to the ground but as soon as she feels those gentle pets she pops back up and is all wiggles for more love! She just loves to be loved and shown affection and she is very food motivated! She has done well with our kids (aged 7) who give her the love she seeks without forcing it upon her or overwhelming her. She has shown very little interest in our two cats so cats are okay! She also loves other dogs! As long as they aren`t dominant/too overbearing. She loves to romp and play in the yard with my female golden/lab mix and my male pitbull mix who she is extra fond of! They are like two peas in a pod. I am a dog trainer and plan to teach Princess Raya all of the basic obedience commands and leash manners! Since it`s only been a little over a week, we are still working on bonding and building out confidence, but soon she will be a perfectly mannered pup ready to settle into her furever home with a new family!
