My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet adoptable Chesterfield!

This gorgeous boy was surrendered through no fault of his own and is ready to find his forever home. Chester is a solid, talkative, oh-so-handsome guy who will happily chat your ears off. He enjoys affection—on his terms—and will let you know when he’s had enough.

Chester was a solo cat in his previous home. While he has spent some time with adoptable kittens here, he’s a bit selective about his feline friends. Because of this, we believe Chester will thrive best as the solo king of his castle, where he can soak up all the attention. He is energetic, inquisitive and needs entertaining / playing with. He would LOVE to have access to the outdoors through a safe, enclosed catio!!

If you’re looking for a confident, conversational companion with movie-star looks, Chester might be your perfect match.

Chester has a dental scheduled for Feb 3. He'll be able to go to his new home once he has healed from the procedure.

Chester is at the RAPS Adoption Centre at 3380 No 6 Rd, Richmond. We are open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 PM. No appointment necessary. We recommend completing an adoption application first. Applications are reviewed by staff and successful candidates are contacted to set up a meet and greet. Meet and greets for successful applicants may be scheduled outside of regular visiting hours.

Additional adoption info

We adopt kittens in pairs (under 1 year of age) and consider adoptions of single kittens into homes that already have a well-matched kitten or cat. We do not split bonded pairs. Some of our adult cats prefer to reign solo as the only cat in the home. While the majority of our adoptables are at the Adoption Centre and in our foster network, there are a small number of cats available for adoption at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary.
