Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Garnet is a super-sweet lady who loves to give headbutts, snuggle up for movie night, and burrow under the covers at bed time. She was pretty scared at the shelter, but since coming to her foster dad’s place, she’s gained confidence and cuddliness every day.
Loud sounds, quick movements and unfamiliar things are still kinda scary for Garnet, so she’d probably be best in a quieter home without small children. Sometimes she also gets overstimulated, or just feels the love, and she’ll give you a gentle nibble on the arm or hand to say “pause, please”! It might be a little confusing for young children. But for the right home, she is a bundle of cuddles just waiting to find a furever home where she can watch the birds and squirrels outside, snuggle up on the couch, and curl up around your feet under the covers on a cold winter morning.
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location.
From Foster Care (out of shelter): 1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://bit.ly/SAScatsurvey 2. Download and complete the cat survey. 3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it`s filled in when opened again. 4. Put the name of the cat(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. Attach your survey, add any additional information you would like us to know, and send to SASCatFosterAdoption@seattle.gov
