This Mastiff boy is looking for that special home sweet home!

At 10 months old and 75lbs+ Victor is still a pup at heart. While he is respectful of boundaries with others pups that won’t stop him from asking them to play over and over again. He is a gentle guy and can play with canines of all shapes and sizes. Like a true puppy he plays hard and naps hard too. Victor is pretty good at napping and relaxing after a play session. He acts certainly as goofy as you may think flopping, rolling and running around with those lengthy legs. As wonderful as Victor is he does come with a bit of baggage.

This giant boy has a serious fear of men. We do not know if it is due to abuse or a lack of socialization, but gets his big boy bark and growl out when aburptly approached by men. He is definitely insecure in these situations and needs to be setup for success in order to build his confidence. Slow introductions to men, giving him time and space to get comfortable is necessary and proven to Victor overcome his fear. He was able to build relationships with the men that work within the shelter, and as of recently his foster dad that has been working with him. It takes time, patience, and doggy savvy humans to help pups like Victor gain confidence, and that is exactly the type of family we are requiring for this boy.
