MY RESCUE STORY
I was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where I didn’t receive the care or freedom every dog deserves. I was tied with a very short leash that limited my movement, attached to a truck, and left neglected. Thanks to the compassion and quick action of kind rescuers, I was saved from that life and given a second chance. Now I’m safe, learning what love feels like, and ready to begin a bright new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me, protect me, and show me the beautiful life I’ve always deserved.

MY PERSONALITY
I’m a super friendly boy who absolutely adores human attention and loves soaking up affection and pets from everyone I meet! I have a big appetite and an even bigger desire to please, which makes me very eager to learn and easy to train. Mealtime is my favorite time of day, and while I can get a little excited and eat fast, I’m happily working on taking treats more gently as I continue learning my manners.

· With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends of all sizes and am polite and friendly when meeting them, but I don’t always jump straight into play. I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing and coexisting calmly with other dogs. I get along well with my dog friends at the care facility, but at heart, I’m truly a people’s pup who loves human companionship and being close to my favorite humans.

ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate to high energy level and love spending time running around and exploring the world outside. Once I’ve had my adventures and exercise, I’m more than happy to settle down indoors for cozy snuggles and quality time with my people.
TRAINING & HABITS
I may pull on the leash at times, but overall I walk nicely and do a great job following my handler’s lead. During mealtimes, I can be a little sensitive with my food at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable with you, I relax completely and don’t mind at all. I’m generally very quiet, though I may bark occasionally when I want attention. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle well on my own.
I can potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors, and with a consistent walking routine, I naturally prefer doing my business outside. In new environments, I may mark briefly, but I adjust quickly once I feel settled. When outdoors, I’ll need a bit of extra supervision since I love food and may try to investigate interesting smells like trash or berries along the way.
I’m great with baths and enjoy being clean and pampered! Nail trims and ear cleaning can make me a little nervous, but with gentle encouragement, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement, I do well—especially when I’m treated like the baby I am.
