Meet Geez Louise!

Louise began coming regularly to one of our feeders, eventually warming up to her and showing her sweet side. We believe she was abandoned as she showed us how feral she WASN’T!

Geez Louise is a spunky and outgoing girl. She is still young so she absolutely loves playing with toys and running around. She is very curious and nosey. Louise loves attention and is easy to handle over all. She is a big purrer and a great muffin maker. Louise does have a sassy side when it comes to other cats, as she needs a buddy to play with, but definitely needs slow and proper intros.

Louise LOVES looking out of the window and nebbing through the curtains to the outside world. We believe she would do well with older children who want to entertain an active girlie, and she may do well with dogs as well, with proper intros.

Geez Louise is a little over a year old, spayed, microchipped, FIV/FELV tested negative, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated. This spunky gal is looking for her forever people, is that you?!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.
Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.
Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.
Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.
