My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don’t let his name fool you… Under that mischievous exterior is a kitty with a heart of gold. Originally, Mayhem came through our doors to receive a routine trap and release (T&R) surgery; however, he had other plans. Being too small and battling an upper respiratory infection, he wasn’t a great candidate for the procedure, and instead went home with one of our caring technicians. Mayhem is now back and better than ever — after being nursed back to health, he is swinging with life and personality! In his foster home, his typical evening looks a little something like this: big meal and playtime first and foremost. Once he has successfully “conquered” his toys, he’ll collapse right into your lap for a heavy-duty nap. He enjoys belly rubs tenfold, and he is a master biscuit-maker.

Mayhem has fought hard to trade the streets for the sofa. Now, all he needs is the right person to share it with. So, are you game? Apply to meet Mayhem today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
