BRUTUS was born in the wee hours of December 8, 2025. This was only 5 hours after his mommy was rescued from our local shelter. He is now 8 weeks old, weighs almost 7 lbs, been wormed and had his first vaccination.
BTW, his mommy is an 18 lb Siliy Terrier.
RoRescue January 31 observation of breed: Brutus is the biggest of the litter. He has long wavy fur with short legs and his tail curl up. His tongue is pink. I think he may have some Shihtzu in him.
BRUTUS's PERSONALITY: If you are reading this, I assume you are looking for a mix breed puppy. This boy is a lover. We know how important that babies get lots of human contact to become a socialized loving pet. He has been showered with cuddles and kisses from the hour he was born and loved to snuggle into your arms.
We also know that he, most likely, will NOT be a tiny adult. We have done a DNA on him to make a better guess on his breed, What we do know is that he has gotten lots of love since he was introduced into this world.
We are looking for that perfect person who is willing to FOSTER-TO-ADOPT him until we can complete his vaccinations and get him neutered. Are you that person??? If so, please drop us an email.

I have been in dog rescue for over 20 years. I was a foster volunteer with Arizona Poodle Rescue for over 10 years. RoRescue was formed in 2016. In 2018 RoRescue rescued and placed over 40 dogs Rorescue source for rescue dogs are primarily County Animal Shelters and occasionally, we take in strays or owner surrender dogs.
