My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just look at that face! This wobbly guy is Richter, and he's ready to capture your heart.

Richter has CH or Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is a neurological condition that causes imbalance and jerky movements. Richter's case is on the more complex side, but his mobility has improved in foster care.

This fluffy guy is a playful and confident purring machine! He also loves being held and laying laps! He alternates between long naps in his favorite chair and long periods of play around the house throughout the day. He loves churu, spring toys, and dangling toys!

Depending on his mood, he enjoys being pet, but often will get mouthy and handsy. He's looking for an adopter who can help him work on his manners. While Richter likes other cats, his play style can be a bit much for them, so he would love to find a tolerant and playful buddy to help redirect his kitten energy.

While Richter uses the litter box, because of his CH, he needs a lower litter box set up and an adopter willing to help him with his litter box hygiene. We would be happy to tell you more details about what his foster mom found to work for his bathroom habits.

If you're ready for a wobbly bundle of happy energy in your home, please reach out to adoptions@phillypaws.org to learn more about Richter!
