My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Citrus got real for this girl when she found herself roaming Karnes County just before the Texas freeze. Luckily, Clementine was plucked from the streets just in time, and she is now learning all about the joys of being a house dog.

Clementine was in heat, heartworm positive, and afraid of humans when she was found. Now in foster care with SNIPSA, she is getting healthier by the day and is eager to domesticate herself! Cold, hard sidewalks are nothing but a memory–big meals, soft blankets, and bear hugs have warmed her heart in record time. Clementine already walks on her leash like a pro, and she even gives shy kisses to her human friends.

This girl hasn’t been in the rescue world long, but with a little bit of love and patience, Clementine’s secret sweetness will burst forth for the world to see. She is only two years old, so she’s got a long shelf life, too! Apply to meet Clementine–she’s ripe to meet you!!!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
