Hello there! My name is Houdini which might sound like an odd name for a girl kitty but trust me, I have lived up to my name (all in good ways, don't worry!) My foster Mom tells me I am so beautiful (and I must admit, I like that.) I have long, soft orange hair with white highlights on my chin, chest, and paws and I have big, golden/green eyes which I love to give slow blinks with to tell my humans I love them!
I am pretty young for a cat at only five years old. I'm healthy and very social once I get to know you. I love to be with my humans and I have advanced level cuddle skills. My favorite time of day is when I get to snuggle in my foster Mom's arms with my head on her shoulder (I purr often while snuggling by the way.) Will you be my next snuggle buddy?
I like to play, especially with my butterfly toy that spins around, but I am very sophisticated, so I don’t get too excited or hyped up. I can be shy at first and a little cautious when I am getting to learn my way around or hearing new sounds (like my foster parent's dogs) but once I open up, I will be by your side through thick and thin forever.
I would do best in a calm home where I am the only pet or you have pets that will be respectful of my space when needed. I love to be brushed (got to maintain my beautiful long locks) and I am a good little eater, always use my litter box and am good about using my scratching posts to sharpen my nails, not the furniture.
In summary, I am sweet, beautiful, sophisticated and very well mannered so hurry up and apply to be my forever family! Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
