Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wednesday — a tiny tornado of fun wrapped in whiskers and attitude.
Wednesday is young, energetic, and absolutely convinced that every toy ever invented was created specifically for her personal entertainment. Lasers? Yes. Feather wands? Absolutely. Jingly balls, toy mice, crinkly things, mysterious invisible specks on the floor? Also yes. If it moves, jingles, dangles, or even looks suspiciously playable, Wednesday is already mid-pounce.
She’s the perfect mix of spunky and snuggly. One minute she’s performing Olympic-level acrobatics across the living room, the next she’s climbing into your arms like, “Hello, I am baby now, please hold me.” And the best part? She actually enjoys being held. Pick-up friendly cats are rare treasures, and Wednesday is a gold-medal winner.
Wednesday adores kids and gets along wonderfully with other cats, making her an easy addition to a busy, loving home. She thrives on attention and wants to be wherever the action is — helping with homework, supervising chores, or dramatically chasing a laser dot like it owes her money.
Her personality stats look something like: • 50% play machine • 30% cuddle bug • 20% tiny chaos gremlin
She brings laughter, movement, and affection wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a cat who will keep you entertained, happily accept endless pets, and then curl up in your arms when the day winds down, Wednesday is ready to make every day of the week a whole lot brighter.More information? More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
