My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki (A139835) is a 6-month-old AK Husky who weighed 46.6 pounds on intake and is available for adoption!

01/29/26 Loki, previously Len at the shelter, is back and looking for his next family to love. Loki was said to be kennel-trained but hasn’t quite mastered potty training. His surrendering owner stated that he will sit by the door when he needs to go outside but that you have to be paying attention, or he might have an accident. Loki was also said to be working on his basic commands but would still benefit from attending a basic obedience class. He is a young pup who is still testing his boundaries and does like to jump up on the counters. He was also know to enjoy digging and chewing on toys. Providing him with appropriate outlets is very important when owning a husky. Loki was stated to do well with babies and children. He can be a tad shy around strangers but warms up quickly. He was stated to be very playful with other dogs and has had no experience around cats. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new critters to help set him up for success. Also keeping in mind that huskies have a higher prey drive so he may be interested in chasing after smaller critters. If you are interested in meeting Loki, please let us know!

09/29/25 These adventure pups were surrendered to the shelter with their momma, Lily, and are now looking for their new homes! In typical puppy fashion, they are going to need help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization! They already have a jump start on kennel training and are eager to learn! Being that they are husky mixes, these pups are looking for homes that can keep them both mentally and physically stimulated as they age. They are active and will need that daily exercise. They are also at the age that they love to chew and should be provided with appropriate chews to keep them from chewing on you! Keep in mind that they are babies and require patience! They were said to do well with children, adults, and other dogs in their last home! Appropriate introductions are important! If you are interested in meeting any of these pups, please let us know!January 30, 2026, 11:53 pm
