My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beckham is a unique, intelligent & sensitive kitten. While he is enjoying many of the comforts of an indoor home & loves playing & snuggling with other cats & dog friends, he remains quite shy around people. Once he knows you, he will eagerly come running for his favorite treats or toys, and he likes to curiously & cautiously be a part of whatever is happening, as long his animal friends are there to show him that it’s safe.

At this time, he has no interest in being held or pet, and likely will never be a snuggly lap cat. Time will tell.

He and his littermates were trapped while living outdoors and the others gained confidence, prior to adoption, in the same foster home. But Beckham has not quite let go of his survival instincts and takes longer to trust new people. He is incredibly sweet despite his flightiness.

He absolutely must have another cat or kitten in his life for companionship and confidence building. He is quite comfortable around dogs as well, but a cat friend is a necessity.

If you have a calm home with a cat that needs a companion, and you are willing to give him lots of patience, time and treats to bond with you, he might be your guy!

His foster mom has lots of cute videos of him and would be happy to share or set up a time to mee if you are interested.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
