MEET ATHENA #10!!
Athena is a smart, affectionate girl who has come a long way in a short time. When she was rescued just minutes from euthanasia, she was very fearful—especially of men and new people—but with patience and kindness she’s learned how to relax and trust. Today, she’s a loving companion who adores belly rubs, toys, brushing, baths, and car rides, and she’s fully housebroken with dog-door skills to match. She’s well-behaved in the home (her toys are the only victims), eager to please, and knows basic commands, though she would benefit from continued work with a trainer—especially around new people and other animals. She can be reactive at first when people enter the home or yard, but she settles down quickly once she realizes they’re not a threat. She would do best in a calm home where she can be the only pet and given time to build trust. With a little time and care, Athena will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Complete an application and meet Athena.
