My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Coaly, a 4-month-old Lab mix with a sleek, shiny black coat that makes her an absolute showstopper! This girl is full of puppy energy and spends her days zooming around and playing with the other dog in her foster home. Always ready for fun, Coaly takes her job of fetching (especially her beloved stuffies) very seriously.

A true social butterfly, Coaly would thrive in a home with another friendly, playful dog—or with a family open to doggy daycare so she can keep her social calendar full.

Kids: Coaly adores children! Because of her enthusiastic puppy antics, we recommend a home with older kids who can keep up with her joyful shenanigans.
Cats: Coaly is neutral with cats and currently lives peacefully with dog-savvy felines in her foster home.

Coaly is working hard on house training and sometimes ends the day with just one little “oops.” Leash training has been limited due to chilly central Pennsylvania weather, but with consistency and a solid routine, she’s expected to do great in her new home.

This smart girl is highly motivated by treats, making training both fun and effective as she learns how to grow into a wonderful family companion.

Coaly is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

After a full day of play and puppy adventures, Coaly is more than happy to curl up with her people for some well-earned snuggles.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.
