This helps Rescue Pets Serving Vets with pet care costs.
Rosey is a one year old 49 lb spayed female mix of likely Lab/Pit Bull. She came from SC kill shelter as a very young puppy in a litter. Our rescue was asked to save them, which we did. They were listed as a Catahoula mix. But when they got older they looked likely to be a Lab/Pit Bull mix. Two sisters were adopted together by an older couple. But after nearly a year they were returned to our rescue because they were not good with their other dogs as they got older. We made suggestions for training but they didn't want to because of the cost for a trainer. They were dominant occasionally with themselves. So we suggested them being adopted separately with only adults and teenagers. They are loving with people at our rescue. Especially Rosey was a hugger with a young woman here at our rescue. They are current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm/Lyme and two other tick borne disease negative! We believe they should be adopted separately and with a person that knows how to train dogs and give commands! Their 3rd sister was also dominant but now well trained. They are house trained! They need the right owner or family! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rosey please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form on https://rescuepetsservingvets.org
