Meet Derp, the happiest little guy you ever did see! This fluffy furball is a purr-fect blend of playful energy and cuddly affection, ready to bring endless joy to his forever home.
Derp is a true string-and-dangle enthusiast, with a passion for balls and the classic toy mouse. He'll keep you entertained with his energetic pouncing and adorable antics. When playtime is over, he transforms into a professional snuggler. Derp simply adores being held or curling up right next to you on the bed, always wanting to be a little bit "in your business" – in the most charming way, of course! He even has the quietest, most endearing little squeaky meow you'll ever hear.
This handsome boy has a gorgeous coat that will need weekly brushing to keep him looking his dapper best. He's also a discerning diner, preferring his meals to be wet food or a delicious mix of wet and dry.
You might hear whispers of past litterbox woes, but rest assured, Derp has been a perfect gentleman in his current and previous foster homes. His occasional past oopsies were likely stress-related, and as long as he has a clean, easily accessible litterbox in a calm environment, he's a pro!
Derp eats, sleeps, plays, and loves to be in the company of his humans. If you're looking for a constantly happy, affectionate, and playful companion who will always want to be near you, Derp is your guy!
Derp is from an owner surrender.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
