My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Franklin is a bright, sunny-hearted boy who brings warmth and happiness wherever he goes. With his cheerful personality and people-loving nature, he’s the kind of cat who greets you at the door, follows you from room to room, and happily soaks up all the attention you’re willing to give. His favorite place is right by your side (or in your lap!), and he’s always ready to share his sweet purrs and gentle affection.
Franklin does have a special diet to help him feel his very best, and he’s a champ about sticking to his routine. Because he prefers to be the star of the show, Franklin would do best as the only cat in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. Luckily, he has more than enough personality to fill your whole house!
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a sunny spirit and lots of love to give, Franklin might just be your perfect match. 🌞🐾

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
