HEY HEY EVERYONE!! PICK ME! PICK ME!! Wait til' u meet me and I can show u all the love in the world! I am one of the best kitties you can possibly adopt and wait til u hear all about me!

My name is Henderson and oh I am the smushiest lovebug you will ever meet. As you can see, I am quite a unique AND handsome kitty - super sweet in fact. Sadly I have quite a sad tale. My owner passed and her children cannot keep me as they already have too many kitties. Luckily my sweetness got everyone's attention so they shared my story with this great rescue to help me find a forever home and to finish my vetting. They love me sooo much and now I'm finally ready to love u too!

From the minute you meet me I do not hesitate to show love love love to EVERYONE. I am wearing formal tabby tuxedo wear but more of a casual lover boy with a huge heart and lots of smiles. I am GREAT with everyone. I even will head butt kids - i am THAT AMAZING! Super mellow super sweet and super perfect of course. I can even smush into a box if no one is around. I am about 10 yrs old but super healthy FULLY vetted with dental and senior blood work perfect and I'm a big kitten at heart and have years of love to give. I am a Tabby mix - the best right?! - so won't you please take me home forever?!!!

Since I have been in a home and always been happy, I can be super chill. HEAD BUTTING CHAMPION. I love to be carried around and you can even sling me over your shoulder. I make biscuits WHILE I WALK OMG. I live for being snuggled and brushed. I still have a lot of play in me but am at the age where snuggles are equally important too!! I am very friendly want to interact with you and have a good time - just like a dog cat. A lot of love to give! I have not yet had a chance to truly shine yet so won't you be my forever home?! Just look at what a lap cat uber kisser I am and you will be hooked! I just need time to settle and then I become the happy boy I was in my old home! Did I also mention that i am a champion biscuit maker - the happier i get the more biscuits I make!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.

More about this rescue

Welcome to Rock N' Rescue! We are a 501c3 cat rescue (and a few dogs!) based in Westchester County NY. Our goal is not only to save the lives of kittens and cats coming from high kill shelters, but to raise awareness of many issues concerning animal welfare. We also have a therapy cat program, providing special cats deemed gentle enough to be able to relieve stress for individuals suffering from illness, PTSD and other stress/trauma in their lives. All of our cats must go to an indoor only home and are not allowed to be declawed (unless they are rescued already declawed). Adopters are encouraged to post happy tales here too!

We also are happy to do custom searches if you are looking for a particular breed/mixed breed of cat or dog!
